Uber Comfort is a brand new service for New Zealand Uber riders – and it’s launching this week!  From Thursday, 5th September 2019, you’ll be able to request an Uber Comfort ride, when you want a bit of pampering.

The Uber Comfort service matches riders with experienced, top-rated driver-partners who have newer cars.  Fares with Uber Comfort will be approximately 15% more than an UberX trip of the same time and distance.

So it’s a case of “you get what you pay for”.  If travelling in comfort and style is important to you, then you can offer an Uber car to match – and be guaranteed of a quality and comfortable ride.  If you’re less concerned about comfort, and more concerned about the price you pay to go from A to B, then you can just order a standard Uber vehicle as you’ve always done.

It’s nice to see Uber offering new options to New Zealand passengers, and I wonder how long it will be before Ola and Zoomy follow suit in the main Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch markets?
