I’ve noticed some good promotions on Uber this week in New Zealand. For example, they added a 50% off rides voucher to my app, valid for a limited period of time, and for 20 rides. But the savings were significant.

It meant that a ride from my home in West Auckland to a function in Remuera was only $15 instead of a normal fare of $30 or so. That’s a BIG saving. Given the bus would have cost me about $7, the extra $8 to get the Uber was well worth it. And I saved a lot of time to boot!

Always check your Uber rider app for promotions, as it seems Uber are doing some good marketing right now.
